About Marion County Court Docket

Marion County court information is divided among the Marion County Clerk, the courts that schedule and decide cases, and Indiana's statewide MyCase portal. This site brings those routes together so a visitor can identify the right search tool, office address, or telephone number with fewer detours.

Why We Built This Site

Public access is only useful when a searcher knows where to begin. The Marion County Clerk maintains the official case file and Chronological Case Summary, while Marion Circuit Court, the Superior Courts, township small-claims courts, and Beech Grove City Court handle different case assignments. MyCase provides a statewide public view by name or case number, but it is not the official court record. We organized the local contacts, search routes, number formats, and request instructions that help distinguish those roles.

What You Will Find Here

  • Case lookups: steps for a case search in MyCase using a party name or case number
  • Record requests: where to seek court records, including official and certified copies
  • Docket guides: local guidance for reading and searching criminal dockets and civil dockets
  • Court dates and settings: ways to check the court calendar and verify a scheduled appearance

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, independent of the Marion County Clerk, Indiana courts, and every government agency. As a result, we cannot:

  • Provide legal advice or interpret a particular case for you
  • Issue a certified docket, order, or other court document
  • Seal, remove, or alter any case or docket entry
  • Retrieve an official CCS, docket sheet, or case file on your behalf
  • Set, reset, reschedule, or cancel a hearing date
  • Promise that a listed fee, setting, telephone number, or procedure remains current

An official or certified CCS or court document must come from the Marion County Clerk or the court responsible for the case. This site can identify a likely route, but it cannot supply the record.

Search Partners

Outside providers operate search boxes that appear on some pages. Their services, result sets, and prices are beyond our control. If a visitor follows one of those tools and purchases a subscription or service, this site may receive a referral payment, which supports free public access to our guides.
